2023年6月，先正达集团首次公开发行获上交所上市委会议通过。先正达拟募集资金共650亿元，创下A股市场过去13年募资最大规模IPO记录，按此计算估值达3250亿元。
追溯起来，这原先是一家瑞士公司，2000年时由两大制药巨头诺华和阿斯利康的农业化学部门合并而成。2017年，先正达被中国化工以430亿美元收购，成为中国最大一笔海外收购案。时至今日，先正达的业务遍及全球，业务覆盖农药、化肥、种子等等，其中种子业务全球第三，2022年总营收达2248亿元。
ChemChina’s $43 billion acquisition of Syngenta AG
ChemChina has won more than enough support from Syngenta (SYT) shareholders to clinch its $43 billion takeovers of the Swiss pesticides and seeds group。
The deal, announced in February 2016, was prompted by China’s desire to use Syngenta’s portfolio of top-tier chemicals and patent-protected seeds to improve domestic agricultural output. It is China’s biggest foreign takeover to date.
It is one of several deals that are remaking the international market for agricultural chemicals, seeds and fertilizers.
